Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Speech-Language pathology and Audiologiy programs are often grouped together, as both professions provide services in developing vital communication skills to all ages. They are concerned with diagnosis, rehabilitation and prevention of children and adults with hearing impairments and communication disorders. They often participate in programs that involve several team members, such as physicians, nurses, psycologists, social workers, teachers, occupational and physical therapists.  Their goal is to enrich the lives of people through improved communication skills.

Academic Programs

A Master's degree or equivalent is the minimum requirement for speech-language pathologists and audiologists in Canada.
